Judy Horrocks, Ed.D.

Specialty – Autism Education
Dr. Judy Horrocks is the Director of the TIM Academy in Berwyn, PA. Judy has more than 25 years in autism education as a teacher, school administrator and professional educator. She is a pioneer in the field, helping to design student curriculums, teacher training courses and staff development programs (for public and private schools, school districts and the medical community). Judy is also a frequent speaker on autism research and teaching methods. In addition to presenting at the National Autism Conference in University Park, PA, she has traveled throughout the United States as well as internationally to educate professionals about autism. Judy received a Doctorate in Education from Lehigh University in 2006. She also holds a B.S. in psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in special education from Beaver College (now Arcadia University).

Wendy Moran
Assistant Director
Specialty – Working with Parents, Home and Community Routines
Wendy Moran is the assistant director of the TIM Academy, where she serves as both a trainer and administrator. She also provides classroom consultations and helps design staff development programs for schools and school districts. Previously, she served for nearly 15 years as the home school behavior liaison for the Timothy School. In this position, she provided support and training for parents and home support staff. She also served as an autistic support teacher at the Timothy School for five years. Wendy holds a B.A. in elementary education and special education as well as a Bachelor in Social Work from Cedar Crest College.
The TIM Academy also calls upon experienced Timothy School staff to work as additional trainers for various workshops. The TIM Academy provides staff development and consultative services to the school faculty regularly.
The TIM Academy training graduates who are employed by public school districts also periodically join the Academy to assist in training workshops. We appreciate their insight into the larger arena of special education.
